Captain America Shield - Could use advice

It would be nice to have a pattern to go by, but since I can't find one I guess I'll draw my own.

there are tons of shots of the movie shield, licensed shields etc. you have dead on shots on the dvd etc. the size can be found here via search.

take one of the frontal pics, scale it to right size, trace the circles and star, done. its not like its rocket science.
