More pics shortly, but wanted to get this one up quick. I just finished this yesterday, with the purchase of the trousers and addition of the buttons for the suspenders.

Jack wears a lot of different outfits on the show, though they are all minor variations on the same theme. Typically the things to change are the shirt and suspenders.

I'm very happy with how this costume turned out, though it is VERY hot. I mean temperature wise. I never wear undershirts, and seldom wear trench coats, so this is a new experience for me :D

I'm a huge Jack Harkness fan and think this is spot on! Did you end up going with the Denix Webley? Nice work Matt!

Ok, good. I won't be the only one posing with a pistol when I post my Indy costume pics. Hehe. Your Harkness costume looks awesome. Every costume is better when they have a signature jacket.

After doing a little research, when I contacted Abbyshot, I felt as if they were just ordering the jackets from BBC... The same ones off ThinkGeek... They didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about the product... Nothing wrong with that...

Costume looks great though, fantastic job! I'm really excited to see him at Fan Expo...

if its a Denix its a Mk IV .38

Thanks dorian! you are officially hired as my new PR guy! :D And yes, you are correct. It's also mentioned in my Harkness breakdown blog post.

Speaking of which, after these pictures were taken I made a couple of discoveries about the ear pieces that jack wears during the show. I'll post links to my blog posts here for the sake of completeness.

That is odd indeed. Maybe you just ended up speaking with the wrong person. The BBC does not manufacture these jackets, nor does ThinkGeek. They are made by Abbyshot in Canada, and are licensed FROM the BBC.
