"...The piano from Casablanca could fetch more than $1m (£625,000) when it is sold at auction in New York next month on the 70th anniversary of the premiere of the classic movie, Sotheby's said on Tuesday.


The 58-key piano, on which actor and singer Dooley Wilson performed As Time Goes By, has a pre-sale estimate of $800,000 to $1.2m for the 14 December auction."

I just hope this doesn't turn out to be another anti-climax, like when the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car sold a year or 2 ago

The estimate was around there, but is sold for way less.

I think it will sell within those perimeters even in this economy
