Daft punk guy manuel helmet

I think he's 5"7'. But with a helmet on you'll be fine. Maybe play around with the amount of padding. Guy is known for not having too much of a neck haha.

Back with an update. So i have over all bad news but ill leave that at the end.

So i molded the ear piece and glued in place and did some small spot putty work. Now prepping for silicone is underway

I then wet sanded the helmet using different sandpapers 400 grit- 2000 grit. I then painted the helmet in a glossy black

So now the silicone. The usually routine layers of then rubber and 2 layers of thickened rubber.

Then the last stage of mold making. The mold shell. I first used fiber glass until i ran out so i used smooth ons plasti paste which i dont know why i didnt use it in the first place. Once it cured i demolded the helmet and started casting

Anndd it was a failure... The half of the thickened silicone didnt fully cure cause i added to much of the thickening agent thi-vex. So the silicone rubber wrinks to much. Impossible to pull a good cast... The only thing i can do now it do ALOT! Of bondo work do really make it not a piece of ****. But luckily the master is still intact so in the future ill remold it again but better

And now its half covered in bondo. Tomorrow ill be doing for bondo filling and going to salvage a visor for the visor vacuum mold

Update time!

I started working on a visor vacuum mold so i cut out a visor and filled it with foam. since the visor is well ****ty i spent all day sanding and filling stoping at around 4 passes of bondo. One more pass and it should be perfect

Vacuum formed some test visor. I used petg sheet but it was too thin and was to small of a sheet to it wasn't air tight on vacuum table. But pretty good for tests
