Darth Vader reveal mask from ROTJ

Look up Jeremy Mayer sculptor I’ve been looking through his designs for years, been in touch with him to see if he recognises any parts, take a look needs fresh eyes on his designs

Will do, I've been looking up typewriter repairs and restorations hoping to find out where those elusive head keys came from...

Many many typewriters have been looked at for the head parts, need to look further afield in 40s/50s/60s mechanical machines or even 70s electric/mechanical machine not just typewriters

At this point I'm willing to try anything, so many builders have done amazing work recreating these parts from scratch, I hope one day someone will find the original ones used in the film and solve the mystery....

Looks like the build will be on hold for awhile, I'm having trouble finding the shutter lenses for the inside of the mask, the hunt continues, wish me luck....

I guess you know that you need to look for these 2 vintage camera's :

Here are my 2 shutters ... not quite screen-accurate on all the little details (alas the springs are lacking) ... yet close enough for going inside the mask :

Also Bengrim09 should be able to provide you with the metal 'lines' going inside :

This will help me save some money in the long run, I've found one on eBay but they want too much $ for it , the Australian dollar doesn't go far in this economy.....

Best to search local and online camera-shops, auction houses, estate sales or pawn-shops ... even antique fairs may have them available for less ;)

Thanks Ben, I think I will , I just want to finish this build so I can use what I've learnt to start again with a movie accurate raw cast mask from ROTJ..so I can get it as close to the movie version as possible...
