Death Star Turbolaser diorama

Well, all the modules are already in place!!, so technically the tower and surface is all finished.!. :D

It only remains to place the lower module (already finished) once I solder the cables to the connections where the ships are located

All sides of the base will be covered with black plastic sheet

Thanks gedmanc66! :D

I will put photos all assembled next week. First I have paint and weather some pieces that must be assembled once everything is in place, because in the places they go they could break if they were attached to the large modules when i put them

Finally, all the tower and surface is finish!!! :D:D:D

The only thing left is to put the LEDs in the small holes in each section of the tower, but that will be the last thing, after finishing and lighting the ships as well.

I have been working a lot on the TIES Fighters, they take a lot of work to make them more faithful to the original model.

Photo-etched parts help a lot in the detail, but even so, I have had to make small pieces for details and vary in shape others of the model itself, which are made incorrect.

I will put photos soon, as soon as I have all the photo-etched in place. it's 2 TIES Fighters, so the work is double.

Fortunately, the x-wings do not take so much work, only in the cockpit, but I already did that work a long time ago, the work will be to illuminate the entire interior, I am not an expert in electricity or lighting, in fact it is the first job I do with LEDs....I hope this does not give me many problems.

Well, until the next update!

Update with the work in the ships

The work on the TIES has consisted of making small holes (0.3 mm) in the fuselage that the original model had, placing photo-etching, making shapes with a punch in some pieces, paneling lines and sanding some panels that were dimensioned and are flat in the original model. I have also had to make some small pieces in plasticard of which the model lacked.

I have had to do all this 2 times, since there are 2 TIE fighters

In the cockpit I have taken the liberty of making it to my liking, since in the movie you never saw the front panel. I still have to detail the pilot control joysticks

A fantastic undertaking with the spacecraft ( like the rest of this beautiful build ), some of which won’t be seen/acknowledged once completed , but your attention to detail won’t go unnoticed by yourself or those who’ve had the opportunity to enjoy your sharing of this wonderful project !
