I ordered the grips and I added 15 sets to my original total
Best case scenario these will come in the next contained from Spain which is due in March 5th
So if you want a set send me the info requested below.
My run coincided with a production run so if you miss this opportunity it may be a while before I can get more.

These will be $30 per set plus Shipping from Spain and Shipping to You
What does that mean
I can not get a cost for having them shipped to the USA from Spain until I know how many sets we want.
So basically I will just split the cost of shipping from Spain to me with everyone in the group.
Example - If it's $80 and we have 52 sets sold it will be an additional $1.53 per set
If you would like to get on this I need you to do the following 2 things:
1. POST BELOW
2. Send an email to bobadebt@ec.rr.com with the following info:
Subject: Denix Wood Grips
Do not use the RPF email system, I need a direct way to email you so just click my email link above.
For now, I will just create an “interested” list but once I have 35-50 sets reserved I will contact everyone ask that they confirm their reservation.
If enough people follow through I will start to collect payments and order the grips from Denix.

Denix: obviously a perfect fit:
MGC: These will be very easy to modify for a perfect fit. You will Just have to radius the top, forward inside edge
I found these on eBay for $2.50 a set
Grip Screw and Brass Escutcheons Set
I received a sample of the Grip Screw and Brass Escutcheons Set and installed it in a set of wood grips from a deluxe Denix Mauser
IT WAS EXTREMELY EASY
I drilled a 1/4” hole straight through each grip with a fostner bit. There was no reason to stop drill the hole because the counter-bore on the back of the grip leaves a thickness just deep enough to press the cups flush
Then I used a soft piece of wood and my thumb to press the cups into the grips.
I drilled the center web so the bolt could easily pass through it.
I set the grips in place and tightened the bolt. The web prevents the cups from pulling together so there doesn’t seem to be any reason to reinforce the counter-bored area to prevent this issue from happening.
Knowing that an MGC does not have the web, if you wanted to install these grips with this hardware on one, you would have to add a disk of material to the counter-bored area to prevent the cups from pulling through the grip as you tightened the bolt.
I’ll buy a dowel rod and glue a thin disk of it in the counter bore and that should solve the problem.
I’ll post pictures of that process once I do it.
Now I just need denix to return from holiday so I can work out the details of buying the grips directly from them
