Wow this is pretty bad. Wonder how this even makes it out of the factory? Don't they have any sort of QC? Hope you get a replacement quickly.

After two replacements, I've given up on this. The first replacement was a misaligned staff. The second replacement was delayed after going through quality control. Flipped my lid when I finally received the second replacement 2-3 months later. Another warped staff. Bent/flimsy fins. Missing strap. I've requested a refund. Need to research accurate staffs are out there.

Will hesitate ordering from Denuo Novo again. Quality control is non-existent.

Unfortunately the material used for the staff makes it pretty easy to warp. The warping could happen after it is packed up. I don't know how they could meet the safety standards and have it more rigid.

They don't have any other items with this kind of issue. Sometimes they have quality issues with other items, but I don't think it is as common as the issues with the staff.

It doesn't look like the green pieces in the chin light-up, but it could be they just altered the existing Death Trooper helmet picture and added the Neuro-Saav Macromotion Monitor. Are the pieces in the chin called "image intensifying active pulse emitters"? If so, then they should light up as well per the description.

I asked about the chin lights. Below is the reply from Denuo Novo.

The green chin pieces do not light up. There are 2 lights on the Neuro-Saav Macromotion Monitor with 2 switches on the back. The green light on the side of the helmet and there is a white light right above it.

WHOA!!! They completely blew it here. What a disappointment. I'd rather have no Neuro-Saav Macromotion Monitor and have the chin pieces light up instead. Now if I order one I will have to do it myself.

This time they have the Death Trooper Specialist helmet, but I'm not as excited as I was before finding out the chin doesn't light up.

On Friday I added the Death Trooper Specialist helmet to my cart just to see what the total cost would be with the current sale. I left it in my cart, but did not order. Then late Saturday afternoon I received an email from DN offering me 10% off to complete my order. I checked and the code not only worked with the current 15% off sale, but also worked for any helmet. I ended up pre-ordering the Death Trooper helmet even though it's not supposed to arrive until Fall '24. I just don't think I will ever beat 25% off plus FREE shipping except maybe with a BBTS sale years from now.

I also noticed that DN matched the price of the regular Death Trooper helmet to the Specialist, which seems a little weird.
