I'm sorry, but I clearly heard him say at 1:33 "Level one, teet".
Did anyone else catch how the trigger function is different from the TWOK phaser? This one responds the moment the trigger is pressed where as TWOK phaser responded after the trigger was released. So glad that mechanic wasn't repeated.

My only complaint is a strange one: it looks like it lacks heft. I have one of the very early Coyle replicas (no sound, P1 wired to the P2) and the thing has the same heft as a real firearm. This one, being a toy obviously, seems very light the way the guy demo-ing it handles it. I think us modder types will open it up and fill the empty spaces with some extra weight just for fun.

It's true. DST's TV and Wrath of Khan phasers are hollow and very lightweight. No doubt this one will be as well.
The one thing I don't like at all is the audio. I think the sound effects for safety mode, overload, and connecting/removing the hand phaser are really grating.

Yeah, those will definitely be eliminated soon!
I think the screw plugs on this look worse than the ones on their TWOK phaser. I don't know about anyone else, but mine also seems to have a lot of little imperfections that their other phasers didn't have--random dimples, bumps and scratches.

Directly from the DST website. It was pre-ordered January and just arrived today.
Mine will be in tomorrow, but just looking at photos, I am seriously underwhelmed this time around. There seems to be awful quality control on these, huge gaps at the seams... inaccurate colors...
