Still for sale and so much for available for CE members only as have seen advertised on Forbidden planet website here in the UK for less than MR are advertising, the only reason I purchased the Collectors society membership was to buy this ah well, I thought it would sell out fast as well.

I could not find it on the Forbidden Planet web site, could you please post a link?

Wow - unbelievable that FP have it up already. Given that some dealers here in the UK still have some of the last 250 international Obi EEs for sale (at exorbitant prices on the whole though) and that was a quicker seller, that doesn't bode well for the Han EE in the long run.
I thought that at an overall edition size of 1250 that this would sell out within a day or two - but I was obviously very very wrong, and those calling for lower edition sizes were very very right :confused
I'm curious as to how many of the 1000 being sold to CS members are left, and what (if anything) MR will do next. There are signs that some will cancel their orders now that these are still hanging around in the hope that they can pick them up later for less, which is just going to make selling out the first 1000 even harder to achieve.
Cutting the edition size would be a bold move for MR - but in the long run might help them, particularly as regards making the Collectors Society membership worth having. After all the main reason many (including myself) joined the CS was to get EEs - if you can get them cheaper without joining the CS then why bother?
