DL-44 Builds - Real Parts ANH, ESB - MGC ROTJ, FM Greedo

I just read through your whole thread, the work you did with the deactivated Mauser was incredible. The ANH DL-44 has been a dream project of mine for years, and this thread has definitely bumped it up my to-do list!

Looking good! I have one of these saddle prints as well, it's a great piece. looking forward to making the upgrade. I do wish that it had the serial number on the side as well, though I'm not sure if that was an engraved detail like the logo, or just painted/printed on?

Fortunate thing is - it’s just held on by the windage knobs, so if an upgrade comes along I’ll just swap it over!

Another build: Resin ESB Stunt

I heavily modified a resin Dagobah Blaster I had to make this resin stunt, trying to match the images of the PropStore Blaster. It was a fun build where it didn’t matter if it looked crap!

I didn’t know you did this?! Did you get the resin cast or make it yourself?

It’s a resin dagobah cast kit I had that I very very heavily modified to give it the resin stunt look. Modifications mainly involved a lot of putty to fill in the crisp details and much sanding and file work. White primer followed by black coat which I could then chip away at.

What did you use for the piece of glass in the scope?
