Dragon Dagger from MMPR, can't find suitable hilt part.

Greetings! This is my first post after my intro one. I needed some help finding a part for a build of the Dragon Dagger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The part I need is highlighted here.

Also any help on the clarinet styled parts would be appreciated as well! Currently I only have one plan to make the hilt. But that requires learning a new software and submiting it for 3d printing to a near by local library. I am not sure how that would turn out. I am trying to build for accuracy. I recently had a setback on the handle and trumpet valves, but I will do this!

Any and all comments, suggestions, or other will be most helpful!

Edit: Would wood carving be best? I don't have any experience but my father has some wood working tools and I can research more.

Why not just buy the Legacy Dagger? The photo you attached is of that, anyway. Save yourself a LOT of hassle.

I just want to make it. I am not using it for a cosplay or anything. I just want try my hand at it.

I'm with him. If nothing else, buy the Legacy dagger and use it for reference. What more do you want?

Back again.

I cosplay as the Green Ranger myself, and I did some research in 2013 when I first started wearing my GR cosplay about making or obtaining a prop one, so here is the general consensus of what is out there. Keep in mind this info is 3 years old, if not older.

There are two well known sources for prop daggers: Starlight Studios (Also known as ClickClash) and Buzz (Henshin Vault).

STARLIGHT: Currently known for their prop MMPR power coins, communicators, and other metal products. They created a resin Dragon Dagger that was serviceable, but lots of inaccuracies in the sculpt. Squared pipe, coin was weird, clarinet details were very flat, not texture in the green part of the blade...

My painted Starlight prop (I acquired this after my first homemade dagger, see below). I cast a resin copy of a toy coin for more accuracy and attached it with plumbers epoxy putty, hence the rough shape around the coin:

Sales post, since I've gotten a Legacy to use for my cosplay:

BUZZ: More known as a provider of MMPR buckles and leather gloves. VERY accurate piece, but also static (no working buttons). Raised clarinet details, better coin, rounded/thicker pipe, texture on the inset areas of the blade. More accurate than the Legacy Dagger.

His original prop build thread on Henshin Justice, circa 2008:

That being said, information on the builds of both of these is nonexistent; Buzz used to have info on his build when Myspace was the big social network, if that's any indicator of how old the info is. But his molds have been long since retired/destroyed, and I haven't seen a Buzz dagger for sale in years. The last time I did was a year or two ago, it was going for around $400, but that was more about rarity than anything. Starlight daggers went for considerably less, $100-150 a few years ago, but again, they've all but disappeared and Starlight doesn't make them anymore. If you're making your own, you're basically gonna be on your own.

Speaking of DIY daggers, I made my first dagger myself, using PVC, cardboard, and epoxy. It's here:
