I wanted to share my experience in case there are other people new to the RPF who are building a Denix and are considering buying the Blaster Factory steel bolt. I purchased the bolt based on it being advertised as working with the Denix C96. It does not fit the Denix that I have which came from a Blaster Factory kit. The first image shows the difference in the height of the steel bolt. There was another error in the shipment I received, and I asked to return the bolt also because it did not fit. The reply I got was that the Denix bolt varies and that Blaster Factory would be willing to mill the bolt down. I declined that offer because there was a high risk that even after milling, the opening on the side would not allow the bolt stop to be installed. I sent the bolt back with the other item that was incorrect (wrong flash hider). A week later, I received the correct flash hider and was surprised to see the bolt was shipped back too. The bolt had been obviously milled (rough) on the bottom and still was not the correct height to fit in the Denix (second picture shows still to tall). Milling the bottom also meant that the hole on the side does not allow the bolt stop to be inserted (third picture). You can see all of this in the pictures I attached. I emailed several times (over several weeks) and have not received a reply to returning the bolt for a refund. I hope this post can save others from making the same expensive mistake that I did.
