With the TFT being rather slim I went for a less cramped component layout.
Just got the new lens (the one I posted earlier) which set me back nearly 100.00€ but also have a 15.00€ alternative in the post. Maybe even one of the 80mm watch glasses will do, will check that too. The cheap magnifier lens doesn't work for final version because of two side curvature. I now matte the screen at 71mm, which is all but perfect.
Still waiting for the Davies knob which now has a 9/13 date

Also still waiting for a front plate, now water cut and CNC drilled.
Changed to rotary switches with 3 and 8 positions from Lorlin with a very small footprint (will be hard enough to compile 8 quality videos anyway). And the smaller switches fit the 0.2" holes, which most front plates have.
Again, sorry for the monologue, but maybe some day someone will decide to upgrade his version, which is quite feasible/affordable without the prototyping.
