I have recieved the piece and when it is in your hand you really can tell it is the piece. LFL have definitley cut the bottom off this so it doesn't clash with the cheek tube.

There is a photo of the ATAT preproduction helmet and one of these pieces is slightly broken on the bottom where the piece has been cut.
