Thanks Guys! :$
Okay here are the answers to your questions-
The leads are just normal LAN cables, but I colored the middle of one side with a black Sharpie. I used the copper wires as a guide. I don't know how well this will stand up over time, but I'm not planning to do a lot of shape changing so...
The Switch is mounted on a thin piece of aluminum which is glued to the inside of the box. If it isn't obvious from the pics, I cut a round hole in the box the same shape as the opening in the switch cover.
To get the switch cover to stay open is pretty easy. If you look at the back of your switch cover, you will see a part of the spring anchored there. It is bent into kind of a square shape. Okay, now open you switch cover and watch where that goes - you will notice a notch cut out of the base to allow this part to pass unhindered. What I did was to glue a very thin piece of aluminum over that notch. Now that bit of the spring acts like a stopper!
The mouth pieces are cut from aluminum with a dremel and filed/sanded to shape. The prongs are cut down nails. These nails came with nylon anchors which I cut the heads off of. I painted the heads black, cut down the nails, and glued them inside the heads of the anchors. After gluing the LAN cable ot the backs of the mouthpieces, I glued in the prongs.
Here's the template I made for cutting my mouthpieces:
Enjoy!
Thanks again for the compliments!
