Hey everyone
Been having this idea munching away in my head for a few months now, a working Gears MK2 Lancer!?
But since REAL & Airsoft weapons are kinda Illegal without certain -paperwork- (let alone building one) I'm going to NERF it, the chainsaw will be user friendly and it'll shoot foam darts.
However I'm building it from the ground up... this will definitely be a slow build Since I've got two jobs also... But well worth it in the end.
This is the first ROUGH draft of what I have planned for it...
Taking apart a NERF rapidstrike CS-18 for the automatic firing mech. (Oh and re-wiring it so it works!?)
Its also resting on a 1:1 outline of the MK2 Lancer so I can see where all the bits should be fitting... <atm its just stuck down cause I was doing some firing tests...:cool>
Sorry about -upside down pic- but this is a 1:1 scale of the Ammo Clip outline that feeds the darts...
...and last but not least (for today) different versions of how to figure out the "active-reload" hahaha
Next up is a 1:1 schematic of how it'll be working...
