Gas Can from Reservoir Dogs

Hey I am new to the RPF, I was wondering if anyone had more info on the gas can from reservoir dogs. Is it a real brand or was it a prop maid for the movie. I was able to grab some decent images of the can but can not make out the brand it looks like Juan Quarts. I am putting the images I have to possibly help, thanks in advance.

Looks like an older Safeguard brand can. You'll have to look a bit, but they are out there.

Definitely a SafeGuard gas can. I can see where you get Juan Quarts from the blurry image, though,

Knew a guy who had a whole bunch of these. He had a barn half filled with scrap he was going to take in "eventually."

I'll see if I can still get in contact with him and see if he still has his massive scrap pile, and if he might be willing to let one go.


There are a lot of gas and oil collectors out there, too. I'm sure they have forums and such, just like every other hobbist. Check on some of them, too.

Looking at ebay right now, there are a bunch that are the correct size and shape, but so far I'm not seeing the correct brand.
