Wow! That is huge! Has anyone developed a helmet or design for a scaled down, costume size? I'm working on one for a project but any patterns/help is appreciated.

Also, has anyone fabricated/bought a light system for the visor? I saw one on instructables and may try it, But I'm looking for something that will act like the origional: scan then stop controlled by a palm/finger switch in the glove. Here's a quick video of Gort in action.

The Helmut the actor wore had three holes on the underside of the jaw , Bob Burns has the close-up, the other full figure of Gort was made of Fiberglass and fully restored by Bill Malone owner of Robby the Robot .
