Great costume! I've always wanted to do my own take on GA - sort of a blend of him from the comics, Smallville and my own idea of what he would look like "real life". But now that The Avengers has come out I'm focusing on Hawkeye for now. I may try to have my GA done by Dragoncon '12. I hope.
Anyway, as far as the Smallville look, you nailed it. Nicely done! Without a doubt one of the best I've seen.

Thank you. I'm making some revisions to it this year to improve it some. Good luck with your Hawkeye. My friend is doing Hawkeye at Dragoncon this year too, so keep your eye out for a Green Arrow and Hawkeye hanging out together.

ya either bulk up or get it tailored hanging ruins the image...other than hat pretty steller. Would have liked to see a more artistic bow representation, but thats just me

I got ta hand it to ya brah, i was kinda put off by certain appearaces by Smallvilles JLA members showing up like th' writers ran out of creative original ideas kinda ruined Smallville for me personally But, your GA looks alot better than most that i've seen and i like it!!!!! could ya show some pics of th' crossbow and side quiver of bolts???? Keep it up brah!!!!

Yeah last year my tailor wouldn't do it any tighter because the pleather doesn't stretch, and I wouldn't be able to move. This year i'm going to have her add neoprene segments to stretch to alleviate that. I have a lot more photos than I posted on this site, some of which feature the bow more.

this is really amazing!!! have you considered trying to do the costume from Arrow i real love the costume from that show you should try it so then you can have both the arrow and smallville suit standing next to each other in your house that would be pretty cool but again i have to say your suit is defiantly the best out there right now.

Funny you should mention this....I actually built an Arrow suit last summer, a few months before the show aired. I wore both of my costumes to DragonCon 2012.
