Halo 4 Master Chief and Locust Helmet build

It has been a while since I last visit this site. I've done work recently but mostly I post all my work at 405th.

Anyway, here is a quick progress of Halo 4 Master Chief that I have been working on for the past 7 months.

Too many small details.

Completed pepakura helmet.

I did not like it at first as I described in this video.

Started the resin process. The helmet was warped on one side.

Spent a lot of time correcting the warp.

Almost done.

Partially done.

Tried to get viewers for my YouTube Channel by offering the first cast of the helmet for free. So far failed to get enough views.

Switched gear and work on Locust helmet.

I worked on the Master Chief helmet more and I'm ready to mold and cast it. And I also decided to finish the Locust helmet.

I have been working on the Locust helmet for 6 hours. Only halfway done. Still need to work on the mouth and jaw.

A little rough on the back. Need more work.

Unfortunately I won't be selling any cast of the helmet. The helmet is a little small for an adult. I have not finished with the helmet because it is too cold up North to do anything. Here is the last photo update with two rows of teeth in.

I was able to make a few cast of Halo 4 MC helmet. Not the best or accurate but with a little more work, it looks as good as the game.

And here is one of the helmet that I tried to complete before winter arrives. Still working on it though.

It has been a while since I made any updates. Been inactive and finally happy to report that I've finally finished with the Locus helmet. I started the project last year and after being lazy and much delay, I decided to press on and finish the helmet. Unfortunately, the helmet is not wearable because it is narrow on the side. Also, trying to see out without some ingenuity is close to impossible. I plan to display it instead of wearing it. Enjoy! Comments are much welcome.

It was well worth the wait! Looks great bro. I must say I am a little disapointed in 343 because a lot of the new helmet designs dont alow the wearer to see out of them.
