UPDATE: I might be done here. I'll check it again in the natural light of day, but I'm feeling like I've got it as close as I can get.
Lighting here is pretty dim and warmer in tone, the natural daylight will be much cooler, so I'll see how it looks in comparison tomorrow.
Some changes from the last update:
- Completely repainted the lips. I used a lot more colors, so it's less of a solid tone than before.
- Redid the eyes again. They still looked a bit "beady" and I added more putty to the right eye (Deckard's left) because it was still too flat. It looked good at certain angles, but bad at others. Now it's more consistent.
- Painted the tie.
- Darkened the shirt with a black wash.
- Lightened the sort coat lapels.
- Dry brushed the trench coat to make it lighter and slightly greenish.
- Adjusted hairline and added a black wash to entire hair.
If everything looks good tomorrow, I'll spray it with a clear matte coat of paint to seal it and take down the glossiness. I still want to try gloss coating the eyes. My tests with clear gloss nail polish went well, but it can smear the acrylic paint. I think the matte clear coat will keep that from happening, though I'll test it to make sure.
I'm still figuring out a base, so it still won't quite be done until that's printed and painted as well, but it won't take nearly as long.
