HCG no response to return on pulse rifle .

Your making me feel like you could be someone from HCG by the way your grilling me. Its over the top like its personal to you. I don't want to be retaliated against by them for speaking out so I only feel comfortable posting a picture of my box it came in as proof I have one . I will not show the EDITION number I find that really odd you wanted to know that. That would make no difference on the rifle being droopy.

It makes a rather huge difference. This is a forum for discussing props. Let's see it. :D

I've personally contacted HCG numerous times and have never had a problem getting something resolved. You are not getting taken advantage of by HCG when they offer a complete refund. The solution to the problem is simple and not earth shattering, you don’t like the condition of your purchase, return it for a full refund. Quit being a Drama Queen. Al

Green,

There always seems to be a real negativity to all your posts, and it really isn't becoming. Some of your posts do seem a bit out there, and I do agree it's odd that you were asking about alternatives to the HCG rifle when you already had one on preorder. And like Tommin said, it really would help your claims if you took some photos of your rifle so we can sympathize with you.

Yes, I do see that other people haven't gotten responses from HCG customer service, about their pulse rifles, and that does suck. I don't know about any bogus contact emails that you're talking about, as I emailed them about my issues with my rifle and got a response rather quickly.

Right off the bat the CS person apologized and clearly noted that they could not feasibly repair the rifle (and if you look at the HCG PR modification thread and Matsuo's pics of the disassembly, you can clearly see why they wouldn't be able to). So they asked for photos of the problems on my PR (droop, misaligned parts, etc) and I sent them in, while offering to refund me my money or put me on a wait list - I opted for the wait list and 2 or so weeks after that, I got another email saying another OD rifle was ready.

So my droopy/wonky PR is currently in transit right now to the factory, and I HOPE that they found or assembled a new PR for me while using my photos to make sure those issues aren't there on the replacement.

I do agree that they did drop the ball on the QC and 100% believe they should have made sure things were ship-shape right off the bat, especially after the Dallas blaster fiasco. I also agree that some of the unofficial press release comments about the issues that we've seen could have been handled much, much better.

But for me personally, the CS rep I've been working with has been nothing but professional and courteous in trying to remedy this situation. If they pull through and get me a near perfect one, I'll be immensely happy. If not, then I might be like a lot of other people here who won't buy from HCG again.. who knows. I understand that people are frustrated, and I am too. I'd rather have had the rifle perfect and not have to bother with returns/exchanges, but stuff happens and we have to deal with it. Just keep trying to get in contact with them. It looks like you've only tried to call, so send an email. Companies are more willing to respond to a polite email these days than deal with phone calls.

Why would you start a thread about a defective rifle then when asked for pics post an empty box and instruction manual? What purpose do those photos serve?

Actually, I was quite pleased how HGC handled the situation with the Korben Dallas Gun. It would have been nice if they got it right in the first place, but I doubt there are a lot of other companys that would have replaced the whole piece and let you keep the original one.

The really sad thing about my pulse rifle is that it would have been one without droop! :cry

Cheers,
Stefan

Really ? i didn't like that they did that at all, lets be frank here it saved them money to not ask people to ship back the old one because they would have had to foot the bill for all those return shipping costs etc etc.
The way they did it meant they just had to foot the bill for replacements which they would of had to do anyway so it was actually cheaper for them to tell people to just keep the substandard one.

All that achieved was to leave a lot of faulty merchandise out there that a number of people no doubt got conned into buying on the secondry market.

Thanks so much , that was the number I called as well what did he say to you?
He just said to me sorry man and said he had no way to help me and to just try the emails .

I am going to seek legal advice from here on in . I am not a wealthy person I work a low paying job compared to most people but its honest work. I saved as much as I could to have my big one time collectible piece and I am devastated by what has happened .

Maybe you can sue for punitive damages as well to deal with your devastation.

If you are so poor you should not be buying $900 toys to hang on a wall.

What a drama queen.

Yup! Either way "Green" is someone that deals in half truths and contradictions. A troll or someone who has a hard time with "truth" as a way of communicating.

Huh ? he paid for a product and isn't happy with the product quality and isn't getting any response from the company that sold him said product.

I suppose in this situation you praise the company involved and walk about with a large grin on your face exclaiming to the world how happy you are with your substandard purchase and poor customer service experience ?

I don't believe him it has nothing to do with HCG - who did right by me when there was an issue with the drooping barrel. I have a new one on the way and was given a two month window to return it for a refund before they found me a replacement. Don't see how they can do a better job of Customer Service than that.

And I am not the only one who has a positive experience with them dealing with their defective product. Why are they singling out Green to not return phone calls or emails when they have for everyone else.

Read his posts in other threads he is trying to rile people up.

So your experience doesn't match his so he must be lying ? why would he what does he gain from that ?

It's quite possible he could be telling the truth you know. I've had the similar experiences myself in the past with different companies that came highly recommended.
One in particular told me i would have the product in hand within 2 weeks, 4 weeks later i phoned back they told me my product was being sent out the following day, 7 days later i phoned back i didn't mention what they had told me the last time i phoned and they gave me the same exact line that it was being sent out the next day again.
Clearly they were just flat out lying to me so i cancelled my order on the spot, of course they couldn't refund my money to my credit card and i would have to wait 3 weeks for them to send out a cheque.

All this from a company that had a great rep and i knew a number of people who had personally dealt with them.

It happens.

It is his postings that make me not believe him. He stirs up a lot of controversy for no real reason regarding the PR. 10 days ago he started thread on how he was not getting a HCG rifle and what where good alternatives.

Just looking for an alternative to the Hcg

http://www.therpf.com/f9/aliens-pulse-rifle-replicas-95164/

The dates and posts in that thread do not Jibe with his timeline in this thread about receiving his Pulse Rifle.

It is like the Stormtrooper Helmet debates you guys have - some people just come in to stir up the pot.

I could be wrong but for someone who has been here for less than a month he alternates between asking for help like he's never seen a prop and then informing everyone that the secret location of the missing OD Green PR is in James Cameron's office.

So your experience doesn't match his so he must be lying ? why would he what does he gain from that ?

Agreed. All this and only posting pics of styro-foam and an instruction sheet. There are two possibilities; he doesn't have an edition number (no pulsey); he has an edition number and it would identify him.

Got one that was damaged during shipping. I emailed them but got no reply .... :unsure
I've no interest in discussing if Green is legit or not, but I know for a fact that Stefan/Bug Stomper is absolutely legit and he obviously does have problems getting in touch with HCG. Personally I had no problems contacting them about the problems with the Korben Blaster back then, but wouldn't rule out that others have different experiences with their customer service only because mine was positive.
