i've had some success with rubber cement and as was mentioned earlier in the thread from biohunter, more latex once it's bonded.
Don't be afraid to be patient with your adhesive. let that sucker cure...one way to get a quicke bond is to use a hairdryer.....it will cut your wait time by at least 70%

some factors like room temp and consistency might come into play,....once your adhesive is dry, then you apply your latex. it will help seal and bond the edges together.

Its also a good idea to give the latex parts a clean with 99 percent alchohol, before glueing, removes any powder left from the moulding process

Everything i do with latex is superflued. Works like a charm as long as you do not have paint on either surface, after that i usually use some latex over the seam.

Depending on how much pressure you are putting on the area u might wanna stitch it... (i.e. if its a neck seal to a mask...

GOOP.Nuff said.I use welder too, but goop dries faster, and holds anything.I have glued latex, rubber, fabric, you name it, and it stays flexible.Just apply to both sides clamp it, and thats it.
Superglue cracks, and hot glue sucks.

Superflued? Looks like ya been inhalin' some of the fumes from that stuff, bro! :)
I too have had success with cyanacrylate based adhesive (superglue). The Shoe Goo is good too. I'll have to try the Weldwood.

What about e-6000?? I was thinking of using that to apply a zipper to the back of a latex skin top. Thoughts? Please pm me.

In the industry, we use a product called barge. It is flexible and very strong. It will eat through a plastic cup, but won't harm latex. Super glue will harden and is not recomended fir flexible material such as latex... The hold will eventually crack

Like others, I've typically used contact cement or just more liquid latex. If it's a seam that need strengthening from the inside, you can even slop on some latex, then lay cheesecloth into the wet latex, then more latex.

Greek beat me too it.. "Barge" glue is some mean stuff.. Apply it to both surfaces let dry and press firmly together. If your worried about a seam you can always stipple latex over it, paint and bam your all done. If done correctly your bond will probably never come undone again.
