How to Train your Dragon manual?

Wow, i've tried to make the inside pages(by hand) once but failed because i didn't have many pages to refer to! Hope all goes well on this project:)
 
My friend Vagabond has drafted me into this project.
this seems like it will be pretty cool when it is over.
i still need to watch the movie
but i have a lot of drawing experience so ill be drawing the dragons and what ever else need to do be done:)

Resurrecting this thread. My daughter is into these films and I wondered if this ever progressed any.

Found this and did a quick print onto a brown paper shopping bag cut to size.
My daughter loves it.
I'm going to look into paper that looks like leather for the short term but ultimately want to have one made in leather.
If anybody has the skill to pull this off it's you Brenton!

I wanted some background paper props without too much detail, so using only screencaps from the first movie, I combined the Hiccup sketchbook with the empty pages from the Book of Dragons:

It may look a little strange with a white background, but when printed on aged paper and further weathered with a brown ink sponge, I got this nice effect:

I like to think that Hiccup reproduced his sketch on top of the empty pages before completely taking over the Book of Dragons.

I think I must figure out how to make some Toothless scales to go with it!
