Own up - how many people here have just gone up to their Vader helmet and stuck their thumb in[/b]
I just did too. :lol

I'm too lazy... it sits too far away...

Thant's funny :lol i always wondered about that part.. My Thumb fits Perfect...Wow the things people use to aid them in sculpting is Cool :thumbsup

I'll admit it..........I've done that so many times....what with all the helmets I've painted over the years. I'm ashamed to admit it, but my thumb has been up the noses of so many other people's vader helmets that I should probably start a support group...........LOL

Well, I just tried, it was hard but with a little determination and a little spit, I discovered it was warm and a bit sticky

OH, VADER's nose, sorry Brian, my bad :unsure

Cheers,

Kraig

A "Vader expert" told me that several years ago. I never took much stock in it as I have a tendancy to question any info coming from a self proclaimed expert of anything. Come to find out that sapsucker was telling the truth. :lol

That is a pretty cool little tidbit of info. Always fun to learn how they built these early parts, before the computer did so much of it.

yup, heard that a few years ago but never really gave it much thought...it always sounded a little apocryphal and I filed it under interesting trivia

great info, thanks for sharing...

i wonder which other body parts were used... all those bubbled lenses... :lol

I saw a pic of Brian's original box of sculpting tools that he took to Memoribilia and no thumb in the box - Myth busted :lol

Nice bit of trivia thanks for that :)

Cheers Chris
