I picked one up last night, and within about an hour, I had disassembled the whole thing, clipped and rewired it with a simple quick disconnect and relocated the battery box/switch into my pocket. Mounted it in my chest (by sandwiching the tshirt between the reactor core and outer ring with text) and ran the wire down inside and through a small hole in my pocket to the batteries.

Got some awesome reactions from people in line at the theater. My friend owns the local comic shop and has had several on the shelf not selling, but after last night, there were plenty who were ready to buy with the 10% off coupons we were passing out.

Definitely a fun prop, well made and considering the solid metal machined housing and overall nice display, it's well worth the price.

Hey, I just got one of these from gohastings and oe of the round gold pieces inside the reactor is loose and jiggles around, but sets back into place and stays there. Is this normal or is it broken? As it is only one of the gold rounds pieces I am guessing it isn't supoosed to be that way right?
