I did the arm and stomach section. Great approach. I assume you are taking a bit of creative liberty in the design on the arm. It has a custom look and I dig that. Very cool. Seems like it fits well too.

Yeah, I wasn't happy with what I first did, so I started adding a bit of bulk so when the paint is on it contours well. I dont think there is anything wrong with slight deviation :s

I have to remember this is my first build (and to be complete in the next 3 weeks for new year), I want to get this complete then maybe have a crack at a movie accurate version, where I can take more time and get the designs spot on!

Thanks dude, I'm incredibly happy so far. I have just tried on all the upper body pieces together and I can't wait to get some paint on it, but it's freezing in England!!

have you tried to using body manequin bro? it works to me, to get accurate body shape

this is kind of what i did with my first iron man suit.
it was a quick cardboard build and i was much more worried about getting it done than screen accuracy.

the suit looks nice.
