I will glue it together but it´s not that easy as I thought. There are some gaps I have to fill first. And thank you very much :)

Thank you :) Cardboard is also a great way to produce suits. But all the sanding and these things are to complicated for me :D

Re: Iron Man Mark 42 (Foam). Update: Shoulders done 9.11.13!

Hey guys I got a quick question. I'm attempting my first foam build. I'm making War Machine using stealth's foam files but I'm kind of confused as to how to approach it. I printed out the templates but there are lines on them just like on pep files. Is that supposed to be there or is it something different? I got all the foam files and not pep files so I'm at a stand still. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! The lines I'm talking about are the fold lines like this --------

Sometimes those lines will indicate a fold to be made there. Mostly done by scorching the back and then folding the foam. But for many of those lines you can also just ignore them. And in those cases the fold will come automatically by glueing everything together. The outer lines are the most important. Many of those lines are still there from the pep and can be ignored. Just watch the model closely if the fold is deep enough to do it with scorching, or just minor.
