Iron Man mkIII 3D Print Files - FREE

Hi,

This is amazing wish i owned a 3D printer.
Could someone make me a few parts. Of course i will pay you.
The most important part i need is the unibeam(cover). I allready made an arc reactor with LEDs. I just need a nice cover for it so that it looks good in the chest.
Just like the one kenlandrum made.

I only need the printed object. Smooting and painting i will do myself.

Please send me a PM.

Hi all, Sorry kenji if this is thread hijacking (still waiting on mods to approve my post about this)

I've been working on a mark III helmet file for 3d printing from the v4.0 model made by excellent forum member Zabana (I got his permission, his pep thread is http://www.therpf.com/f24/zabana-s-iron-man-wip-boots-finished-page-13-new-leg-page-14-a-76175/ ) and I thought this would be a good thread to share it in

I added thickness and added kenji's helmet buttons

Only the faceplate is done for now, still working on the rest. For some reason I can't get the flat faces on the STL to round off using 3ds max, Anyone have any ideas on that?

Anyhow, here is the link to the STL if you wish to download it

you should smooth it ! if not you're going to need more cleanup than a pepped one !
but you have to make support edges to keep them sharp

for that we have the option of Samohtep

3D Printing an Ironman Helmet

You are correct, and while that model is certainly a great model, it is missing some of the key elements from the movie model. It's missing the screws, the channels on the bottom of the chin, and is not perfectly smooth on the inside (the spots behind the channels), among other inconsistencies with the movie model. I am currently working on figuring out how to get this model to smooth out using tsplines. For some reason Rhino doesn't seem to like it!

I have a perfectly accurate faceplate if you want it. I have not had the time to finish the entire helmet though... maybe you can combine parts?

I would absolutely appreciate that, as the faceplate has been the part that has been giving me the most grief. The geometry on those curves is so difficult to extract smooth mesh from when working with a pep. I was about to start the faceplate from scratch using the pep model as a template.

So yes! If you could!

Thanks!
