@Onkelpsycho:The mask in the right down corner is mine.But the price is a joke...for all masks on this side!You can buy all of them for the half price everywhere.The hocks are all teribble and extremly bad quality.Only my undermask is ok..but not for this price...I bought mine from ebay months ago.Look at ebay.com...there are a lot of cheap masks.Mine,too if you like it.

"Hiya, and welcome to the forums. The FvsJ mask is not off the original movie mold (the original mold being the part 3 mold, AKA Ken's Mold) It was made from a copy of a part 6 mask. That effects the size of the mask. Im sure Ken or one of the moderators can fill you in with all the correct details

As is there other movie molds, you can search the boards and find the answers but here is what I know about the mask

Ken created the mold for Friday the 13 part 3. The original part 3 hero mask (the one used for close ups and the main mask from the film) was destroyed. the part 4 mask was a stunt mask from part 3m (also pulled from ken's mold)

Part 5 was copied off of one of the masks pulled from Ken's mold.
Part 6 is copied off the original mold.
Part 7 is off ken's mold but the edge is trimmed off, making the mask smaller, so you can see more of the Make up underneath

I dont remember if part 8 is a copy or not, I do know the holes in the mask are way small compared to the other masks.

Part 9, i dunno anything about

Jason X is a totally different mask, not related to Ken's mold at all

FvsJ, well i covered that already. Im sure the other guys can give you more detailed information.

And someone else describing where the FvJ hock came from:

"Someone had gotten his hands on a mask from F13 part 6, molded it, and started selling replicas from that mold (2nd generation). Someone got one of those replicas, and molded that, and started selling his own copies (a 3rd generation). The guys WCT got one of those 3rd generation replicas, made some modifications to it, molded it, and thus, the FvsJ mask was born"

I think about to use the parts of the display for both costumes (freddy, Jason).

Or is it a bad idea and the props got a better place in this display?

Bad idea.The Freddyclaws are only a massiv Resincast.You can´t wear it an they are looking bad out of the display..but the Jasonmask looks a lot better.
I would put the complete display on the wall and build me seprate Props for my dummys.
In the future,I hope the Actors of Freddy and Jason comes to germany(Weekend of Horror)..then I want 2 autographs on my walldisplay!

Hm, this was a chance to get both props cheap...

The Freddy Glove is about 200€ in some shops, sure I can get it cheaper anywhere, but I think over 200€ is expensive for a glove. Sure, you got a perfect replica. But for 200€ I can get bigger and better other movie props/replicas from different movies.

Maybe I can get a cheap, good looking glove from ebay. Same for the mask. I only want to use the mask/glove for the dummies, so this neca display doesn't make sense, if I buy it. Got no epty room for it, and no free space on the walls...

You could by a cheaper glove on ebay and paint it to the perfekt look.You can paint the neca,too...but it´s not a real glove..it´s a massive Resincast.But it´s a cast from the moviemold.

Yeah sure. But a glove with real metal knives would be much better. And like I say: Im not very good in Painting Jobs. Most costumes I make from finsihed parts, because of that.
I take a look on the spaceart site, and there are the friday masks about 150€ and freddy gloves 220€. I dont know other shops, offering this stuff.

I prefer the PArt 3 Mask or the PArt 6 Mask. But I will try ebay. Anway, thanks...
