Jedi Robe/Cloak: Need Advice

Alright, so I'm in the market for a Jedi robe/cloak (not the tunic or boots, part, just the robe itself), but I don't want to spend over $100 if I can avoid it. I've been shopping around, and this website caught my eye. I'm 5 foot, 8 inches and the robe looks like it will fit me just right. I searched, but couldn't find anybody who's bought from them before. Anybody have any thoughts about this robe? Their Luke RotJ cloak is made from a poly cotton weave, so I assume their other robes are made from the same. If I'm making a bad decision here, please give me your imput, and if you are willing, point me in the right direction for something better.

I've never bought from them, but I'd assume they'd be comparable to Rubies deluxe robe. They'll do in a pinch, but aren't going to hold up to snuff. I'd suggest MystikMerchant. They're a little over $100, but they're damn good quality and it's free shipping. Plus you get $10 off if you hem it yourself and there are several variations. There's the regular robe a la Obi-Wan, theres the Ani Episode II cloak, Luke RotJ cloak and an old Republic jedi robe.

Mystik Merchant for the win! I bought one of theirs last year for my Old Ben costume. I only wish they also made the inner robes...

(Yes, I know the belt is wrong but I couldn't find an inexpensive yet accurate substitute. Also, the cloak and shirt are actually a bit lighter brown in color than the photo would have you believe.)

There used to be an ebay shop that had wonderful wool robes and went by the name of Speedy Stitches, but I can't seem to find them right now ... and then there is : Twin Roses Designs : http://www.twinrosesdesigns.com/Coats and Robes for Sale.html#Jedi_Style_Robes .... better quality wool fabrics will drape a lot better around your body and also last you longer ... so start saving if your budget is not sufficient yet :)

I do like the sound of that wool robe from Twin Roses Designs. One thing that I worry about is that it says the wool is warmer than the cotton twill, and I don't want a robe that will be TOO warm, ya know?

I have several wool robes including the OB1 ROTS by Museum Replicas ... I can assure you that you can spend the night on Hoth in a Wampa cave with those ... then again there are several types of wool blend ... so best to ask questions to the seamstress of Twin Roses and explain your usage . . . also it will give you the opportunity to choose your own color if you like too ... hence I have an aubergine/eggplant wool jedi robe for my custom costume :)
