Yep, I have that thing. It works okay when you have long V-cuts to make. It works best with the corresponding ruler. But I wouldn't buy it again for the price they ask. You just won't use it that much. A sharp blade is much better. What I do recommend is the 45°/90° cutter from Foamwerks. That thing is awesome!

Thanks for letting me know. It is expensive. So I appreciate your insight and keeping mOney in my pocket. Maybe I'll put it towards the one you mentioned.

Zabanna ripped this file from the ps3 iron man game, I modified them for higher details, and to be pep friendly. I also locked the files so that they could only be access through the 405th thread in which I originally posted them. Please in the future do not re-post files without contacting the original authors. There are reasons why we post files in the places that we do.

V-Groove cutter made by FoamWerks

Looks really slick for undercutting the hill folds. Has anyone ever used one?

I tried once to make a diy tobleron remover, sticking two blades in a cork, and it was a total mess. Maybe this one might work better ?

I'm doing the Mk7 arms at the moment.
I can't seem to find a pep piece for the elbo joint. It shows in the 3d but I don't see it as part of the bicep file.

Is it missing...or am I missing something?

Maybe I'll freestyle something for it

It was probably somewhere outside the white area. I told to myself I'll be able to cut up a circle without the need of a pep file. But I should restart this suit from the beginning to make it fully workable. Unless the V2 files would push these ones into oblivion...

Ok, so I know this post was from a looooong time ago, but I've started an Iron Man build and everything was going fine, all the pieces getting better every time I made one, until I got to the forearm and it didn't go together properly! ... I can either have it towards the top or bottom if I attach it with glue, or if I use webbing I could make it "float" I guess

Mines float too. It's not a matter, and very convenient in a sens : the lower forearms turns along with my hands. It holds attached to the upper part with a couple of straps glued on the inside.

In its state, there's almost nothing to unfold. Even if of course this model rules ! Looking closer it's a set of loose plates, unlinked one eachother. It needs a hard undersuit, or several hours of editing to gather them and make them foam-unfoldable. I'll do it.

These foam unfolds are awesome ! and thank you, with the recent Iron Patriot pep finished any shot we might be graced with a JF Foam unfold ?

It's on its way... In fact it's already done. Almost. But I thought you'd be satisfied of Gaiatron's version ? He also opted for the larger pieces way to provide some JFcustom-like templates.

There's already an accurate foam pep file for this helmet, provided by AxiomUltra (HH).

As it is, a quick sweep to remove the unneeded smallest pieces and it's quite fully speed-buildable. Anyway I can ask him to let me release an update, if you like...

Yes, that is the correct helmet. Looking forward to the trimmed up foam version. I have his original pep, but it was going to be the last piece I made for the armor since I would need to convert it to foam.

Heya JF. This thread keeps getting better and better. Thank you and great work as always. Dont feel bad I didnt know what the Mass Effect armor was either.

I've never seen tribes ascend armor either but I'm thinking maybe using it and making a version of the hulk buster armor. I'll just use the pepped out head. What do you thinK? Also I was curious if any of the Rocketeer peps were on your radar. I know the helmet and the jetpack exist but it was an overly complex build for a simply designed helmet. Once again just curious and thanks for the work you've done.
