Jim Henson's Labyrinth - My Collection (Sept 2024 Update: Poisoned Peach Prop Replica)

Thanks! That's a very cool thought, though I highly doubt she'd ever be interested in trekking to my tiny place in Canada ha ha. But if she were to ever come to a local convention I would definitely consider bringing a few items to the photo op/autograph session to show them off to her.

Sorry, I was not clear. I meant stalk her and take her to your home   (y) :notworthy:

I recently finished yet another foray into the world of Youtube tutorials... this time around I'm making myself a fake poisoned peach prop (Like the one that Sarah bites that sends her to Jareth's ball).

This was a fun photoshoot to do... I just had to gather a bunk of my most vintage looking junk and pile it all up in the middle of my living room, throw on some fake cobwebs, and I had a suitable recreation of the Junk Yard. I slightly regret not adding a spray of glitter, every set in Labyrinth seems to have been coated with the stuff, but I knew if I added even a tiny bit of glitter I'd be cleaning it off my floors for years to come.

So a fun little update to the quest to identify and collect all of Sarah's books... I saw this interview clip from the Making of Labyrinth documentary and thought that pop-up booked seemed familiar... and it turns out it's a copy of Brian Froud's Goblins!

Pretty neat, especially considering that Brian Froud once mentioned in a commentary track that they forgot to include one of his books among Sarah's collection. Based on this it seems like there was at least one of his books on set, it just might not've been visible on camera in the final film.

Great find and detective work.
