Kermit from MR now on sale!

Here is a pic of a newer prototype made a couple moths ago posted on the Muppet forum.
This one is different then the one at Toyfair.

Damn those look nice. So he's not a stick puppet. You win MR.

Ordered. .....and I hate pre-ordered. ::crosses fingers::

"I just don't see a $200 product there."

Then you have never tried to build your own, or have someone make you one, accurate to material and construction. $200 is a steal whether you think it is or not.

:rolleyes Then I suggest you educate yourself ;)

Any Puppet maker will tell you it is a steal but don't take my word for it.

I want you to do some legwork and see what you will find out. :)

Remember what you thought about the Kong Armature. :lol

It may not be easy being green, but that's not much green to lose over such a fine looking product. I want to get a display case for mine when I get it. These look just like the real deal. Can't wait.

I was going to wait until they released Statler and Waldorf (old dudes on the balcony) but knowing they're not going to be actually able to be used as puppets kinda kills that idea for a birthday gift for my mother... what's the going rate on an accurate set of Statler/Waldorf replicas?

at last Yoda's long lost father will be able to join him. And later am sure his mother (Piggie)

Any professional puppet of that caliber made by a commercial puppet maker...........would cost you at least $500. This is a good price folks. :)

If and that is a very big IF youy can find someone that will do them I would guess the two of them would be anywhere from $1000.00 to $2500.00.

Although worth the money, IMHO, I don't have the money, so I guess it's time for me to bone up on my sewing skills... :$

Honestly people, I can understand the sheer value of such a piece, but what's the point of a Muppet you can't puppet? It's like buying a car without an engine, just to show it off in your garage :confused

I don't know, while I love the Muppets, I can't see myself buying something that's supposed to be so lively and animated that really just stands there doing nothing :(

I hear ya. :lol

Hey I'll take what I can get at this Point.

I may also do a little Surgery to Kermie if possible. ;)

"Hey Kermit bend over."...as Apollo puts on a rubber glove :D

any clue what the "custom display stand" that comes with it looks like?
it's a really neat item, definatly something i want to pick up....
i just hope they do a miss piggy as well. (makes me wonder why animal is next...instead of piggy. not that i have anything against animal, mind you.)

Without the sticks, it's just a 200.00 stuffed animal. (That's right, I said it)

I may have to convert one. Think of how much better it would look with the puppeteer sticks.

Okay, so call me dense, but I'm still not sure I have the answer I'm looking for. IS there (not to sound crass, but...) a hole in his butt so that we can make him "talk"? I ask this because I do a pretty good Kermie impression.

No, bro. He's just a stuffed animal.

I'm gonna get one just the same and perform a little surgery.

This looks great:

This doesn't, IMO:

Hmm.

What's with the glittery green?

It's like, Vegas or Disco Kermit.
