LIFESIZED WEREWOLF "New Moon" - new info 8-31-07

BTW, if I didn't mention all the materials earlier:
-The life-sized wolf will have latex head, hands and feet.
-The body will be fiberglass with some foam bulk and muscles.
-The creature will feature custom glass eyes, resin claws on the feet and hands, taxidermy teeth/tongue.
For this first one we're using two custom runs of National Fiber Tech hair.
For future wolves, if the customer wants, we can use a cheaper acrylic fur (like a shag or mongolian shag) for the body with NFT hair for the mane and accents.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I received the wolf bust in the mail and it is fantastic. It is very unique and stands on it's own. You know it is a werewolf but it does not copy any particular version that has been shown in movies. I think everyone will be very pleased with the final results on this bad boy I can not wait to get the body started.

Wanted to post an update on the "New Moon" full size werewolf by posting a few snaps of the body for the first wolf.
As noted above, Rich got the head and created a master body and is making each wolf body of fiberglass. I believe it was mentioned here but the head, hands and feet will be latex, the eyes custom made glass. The nails and teeth will be plastic/acrylic from a taxidermy supply. The arms and torso will come off for easier shipping.
As you can see, the pose we went for is fairly dynamic... walking with a torso turn to the right. Arms out and ready to grab. Sorta like he was walking and then heard his victim step on a twig.
The hair is custom run NFT made to our specs. The shoulder and "mane" are 5-7 inch long and the body fur is 4"-5". Coloring is a mix of 3 browns with black and white strands throughout. On the longer hair, the black and white are more heavily mixed in for a more gray look and some contrast to make things pop.
I should note that we'll be working a little color into the fur when all's said and done so he won't look nearly as "combed and new" as he does at the moment.
This first one is the DELUXE version (all custom made NFT hair) and a STANDARD will be available as well. The standard will feature a stock NFT hair for the mane (mix of brown, black and gray in 5-7") and the body will use a blended gray faux fur (about 3-4" long with blended charcaol gray, white and black hairs)
A big thanks to Rich who's done a GREAT job putting this body together... couldn't think of someone better to work on this project with. This one in the pics will be on its way to me shortly to get it's head, hands, feet and finishing work and I'm really anxious to bring this all together.
