Light table Nostromo

Hi guys!
I'm sorry I didn't explain myself well, I don't intend to make the light table, just the strange goniometer/angle protractor with two compasses...

But now with the information that ZeroSum has given, I am tempted to buy those compasses
I show you part of my nostromo collection

That’s a very cool collection. I wonder what the purpose of two displays on the Casio watch was?

My guess for the double watch is that one is used for whatever standard time they go by (company time?) the other one would be what time it is at home on earth. I’ve known a few people that live in other parts of the world that also have a clock on the wall that is the correct time for wherever they are from. Perhaps to keep tabs on family.

In the actual space programs you have coordinated universal time (UTC) and a mission timer that logs the total mission time- usually from liftoff to splashdown (or landing in the case of the shuttle). One of the many features of the X33 Omega was to include that functionality.

Has anybody finished constructing their cobbled together "navigational device" yet? And has there been any luck sourcing the square chart magnifier?

I’m still waiting for some parts (2 compasses, 1 acrylic wedge, an acrylic hinge and decal paper for my printer).
The pictures shows how parts will be assembled.
The square “chart magnifier” is a stand magnifier from the company “coil”. I didn’t find one with transparent legs yet. The black square in front of the magnifier is a vintage DC jack plug adapter with 3.5mm jack plug (top), 2.5mm jack plug bottom and a volume turn button from an old stereo attached to it horizontally.
