Amy Adams is a strong actress, and I think she'll be fine if they darken her hair appropriately.

She was great in The Fighter I think she will do fine, no one could be worse than Margot Kidder *gag*

Still neutral on the whole thing.
The casting choices alone don't seem particularly bad or particularly good. It's easy enough to dye a gal's hair brown. It's easy enough to give a guy a curl in his hair. "The look" is not a decisive feature.
I do think that the choice of Adams is interesting in that it COULD signal a more mature less "girlish" Lois Lane. But hey, who knows. She's a capable actress, and Cavill is a capable actor. Whether they have a decent script and decent direction will likely be the real question.
