Re: Wile E. Coyote--Super Genius props ( several pics)

Ok....so are you goig to make Wiley Coyote's green bat suit?

Btw great stuff!!!
I was actually thinkig about making a replica of Marvin the Martian's raygun...never got around to it though.

DS

That would be a great Con costume for sure.

The guns started all this for me. I wanted to create all of them with the holsters in the same chuck jones feel and style. Not too much modern or slick work. Just basic CJ.

The guns are all diagramed and that is my ongoing project. But will need money to get resin and stuff to do them. For some reason the straight jacket bazooka has been one of my favorites.

How the heck did I miss this item in the bookstore?!? Gosh darn it to heck!

i missed it too and i have tons of toon books. Heck did my college research paper on the toons.

..and if anyone missed it , My avatar is one of the many screen caps from Ralph Phillips....remember him at the caulk board.

For added effect, make sure to wear a Wile E. Coyote face mask. Unmistakable! Definitely show up in the ComicCon photos on a major news outlet. :)

I've been trying to pin down the exact cartoon I remember it from. The arrow was originally a "Y" that became an improvised weapon, IIRC.

This is awesome stuff! I just bought the ACME catalog off eBay for about $10.00

"From A to Z-Z-Z-Z"

This one would be tough, since nothing is ever seen (only mentioned), but remember "The Wishy-Washy Washing Machine Company of Walla Walla, Washington"?

Hey propologist great thread. Thanks for sharing your prop ideas! I've loved this stuff since I was a wee little guy :lol

And Darth Saber,
My little bro is a major Mav fan so a few years ago I made him a ray gun.
Found a paper prop and remade it out of wood and plastic. I then placed it in a display box, similar idea to a fire hose box.
The first pic shows the box open and the second closed.
What I did not take was a pic of it complete. I hung a small wooden mallet on the side, which is impossible to remove and use. Then I used rub down letters and wrote "ACME Unbreakable Glass" across the bottom.
It turned out really cool and my little bro loved it. So if you can make the time I would suggest making your own!
Later, Petseal
PS: I found the paper model at http://www.chthulhu.com/models.html

i don't have the body for it ( my cardinal rule for costume : Wear your weight..lol

I don't think anyone has "that kind of body" but it sure makes me laugh when ever I see the cartoon!
