For added effect, make sure to wear a Wile E. Coyote face mask. Unmistakable! Definitely show up in the ComicCon photos on a major news outlet. That would be a great Con costume for sure.
I've been trying to pin down the exact cartoon I remember it from. The arrow was originally a "Y" that became an improvised weapon, IIRC...and if anyone missed it , My avatar is one of the many screen caps from Ralph Phillips....remember him at the caulk board.
This is awesome stuff! I just bought the ACME catalog off eBay for about $10.00

"From A to Z-Z-Z-Z"
This one would be tough, since nothing is ever seen (only mentioned), but remember "The Wishy-Washy Washing Machine Company of Walla Walla, Washington"?
That's soo funny! I just saw Looney Tunes Back in Action, Wile E. Coyote has a small laptop now to order stuff from ACME instantly :love :lol
I think if I saw someone at a convention dressed like this I would never stop laughing -

i don't have the body for it ( my cardinal rule for costume : Wear your weight..lol
And Darth Saber,
My little bro is a major Mav fan so a few years ago I made him a ray gun.
Found a paper prop and remade it out of wood and plastic. I then placed it in a display box, similar idea to a fire hose box.
The first pic shows the box open and the second closed.
What I did not take was a pic of it complete. I hung a small wooden mallet on the side, which is impossible to remove and use. Then I used rub down letters and wrote "ACME Unbreakable Glass" across the bottom.
It turned out really cool and my little bro loved it. So if you can make the time I would suggest making your own!
Later, Petseal
PS: I found the paper model at http://www.chthulhu.com/models.html
