Lost in Space movie robot

I would love to get one of those gun kits who made them and are there any out there for sale?

Thanks a lot for the information CustomCreations! I appreciate it, im hoping that any other members here might have some other cool pics or props from this film. I just love the look and design of the whole film.

im even going to work on the blaster kid that i have and hope to do it justice.

Really I would love just a small sliver to frame and hang next to my LIS Robot I built. Let me know really PM me and let me know:thumbsup

I recall that I have the whole gun set that snaps together to make up the rifle still in a box that was sold in stores way back......

I believe the Woo version was filmed in 2002 or maybe even 2001. Since the series never was sold, or used let alone aired the theme music was able to be used again, and well it was. The opening theme score was later used in 2003 for a time shot in a 3 part mini series called "Battlestar Galactica" here is a link to see the Woo opening credit, with the Galactica music used the way it was original put together. The score was made by Richard Gibbs

Does anyone know what became of the Big Blue LIS Robot that FOA Schwarz Toy store had on display? The Orlando store closed some years ago and I tried to purchase it but, they told me it was sold to a company that brought their Darth Vader, C3PO & R2D2.

You know, after seeing this film on blu ray, i can't help but love that giant robot, I too would have loved to have bought the giant promo robot used for the film. Everything about the robot was dead on for me. Its just amazing to watch on screen. Im hoping one day we at least get a nice model or I can just sit down and make one of out wood and metal. so beautiful that thing...

ahhh, i thought that "pilot" was a myth lol. wow...adam huh, thats so horrible lol.

As stated previously, the set served as the CIC set for the Pegasus from the RIS "Battlestar Galactica." Probably the only good thing that came out of it.

I know im bumping my old thread but been reading an old copy of cinefex with a LIS article. Got me searching again for LIS stuff around the net.

I've even been thinking, is it possible to upscale the movie model kit to be larger? It's a random thought and not sure how it would be done, but i figured if there were to make all the necessary part from the model kit about 50% larger, we could have one really amazing large scale robot to put together. That is one of my dreams :)

what do you guys think?

I thought I was the only one in the U.S. that liked the LIS Movie! I hope it's ok to post these pics here but I did a LIS Movie J2 a while back with a modified flight deck and escape pod.

that's an awesome build. I love the original jupiter there!

I actually used the robot model kit last year and had installed a music speaker with some bright led's in them. hopefully once this snow melts a little more outside i can go and pick it up from my parents house to post pics here.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing your Robot build. I don't have a good pic but I have lights under the floor around the astrogator, the instrument panels, the Classic J2 Lifeboat bay, and the rear main engines.

Here are some photos of the model i've built. still haven't finished but the lights and sounds really came out great. once i get it all repainted and smoothed out I will take some better photos and videos.
