There is some really low res black and white unused footage from the lightsaber grab. Might be able to see some obvious patterns on the V2 there, I’ll try to find the link

I can see where the paint wear progress is. Anyone else agree?

Comparing this shot of the cone knob to how it is today you can see where the paint used to be, but it's very hard to tell how much was present during filming.

Are there any other shots of the booster in clear lighting?

I'm pretty sure Endor was shot prior to the throne room from what I recall.

Plus there's more paint on the hilt and I believe the pommel is still shiny.

Looks like the whole booster/pommel lower assembly was rotated, not just the pommel.

Yeah the clamp and pommel are completely in a different spot. I have it clocked in on my hilt for reference to pictures. I'll share it when I get home.
