Mad Max interceptor

Just the exposed engine parts from the BoB would cost between $5000 -9000
the blower itself is now part of movie iconography.

Ive been liasing with a guy in Sydney for a while now who is putting a fiberglass/plastic version together complete with spinning pully and belt activated by a
switch, say on the gearstick and is hoping to keep them under $1500. Only heat issues are the final hurdle. For me this is not an issue as it will
sit proudly in my prop room on a cut down XC bonnet, just trying to raise the fuel tickets.

This is exactly the same method used in both movies except the parts were the real thing.

Do keep us in mind if this comes thru!:cheers

Man, what a dream to own one of those. I've wanted one since I was old enough to want a car (I saw MM at a very young age!)

I always liked the sign at the wreckers where Max gets the spare wheel for his van
Speed is just a question of money
how fast can you go.
