MASK props?

Nice thread and the masks did rule.

Sorry guys, not much happening yet. I'm still clearing a few projects and trying to finish my clone for C4, so things are on the back burner for the moment. Planning to get back to it afterwards, though.:)

I had so many of these toys as a kid. Wish I still had them.
I have all the cartoons on DVD.

I would love to have not only the MASKS of MASK but the costumes as well. Maybe throw in a few vehicles.

Man the memories.
 
I still have the toys (even the volcano/base... Well is not a wise thing to put a gas station at the feet of a volcano, but... :D )
But I have to agree... A costume would be so cool, and a Matt Tracker costume should be really easy to do... Except for the mask, of course...:)
 
Man, I always got bummed as a kid that they never did a live action version of this-would have been awesome!

The watch would be good prop as well.

Cool thing about MASK... You don't have to be a skinny buff guy to dress up like one of the characters and still look the part.

I would have get the mask before even starting on the rest of the costume. The costume just wouldn't work without the mask.
 
I remember that show, I used to watch it all the time. I still Have the Motorcycle/helicoptor called "Condor" after all these years... :)
 
Im really glad this is still getting a well deserved bump. I would love to see this helmet get made and hopefully it will. :)
 
Thanks for bringing it back... I was thinking that now with the extensive use of pepakura for this kind of projects, someone could work on something more "real"...:love

Funny you should mention that. I made an attempt to start the Alex Sector Jackrabbit mask a few months ago using Google Sketchup and Pepakura, but it fell by the wayside shortly after starting.

My flickr page has a few of the in progress pics.

After seeing all the awesome work on the405.com, the goal was to see if I could make a decend looking mask for as little $ as possible. A 3-year-old daughter and high mantainance wife tend to eat away at the disposable income.
 
hey guys, I could give it a shot, but I would use scratch techiques as usual (here you have my iron man helmet made of sintra thread)...

witch of all the helmets are we talking about?

I ain't promising nothing at all...I'm really slow at finishing projects but I was missing another project to start right after I'm done with IM.

So consider it just a try ;)
 
Ok, we'll see what we can do ;)

As soon as I'm done with the IM helmet I'll jump on this and let's see what Rodia and Dark Side will have to say about it on Sp.it ;)
