Mass Effect 2 Capacitor armor

Let me buy it

Buddy, all 20 of your posts have been along these lines. Not everything is for sale, sometimes people just want to share their creativity and their enthusiasm. Maybe you should take a crack at making a few of these things yourself, might be surprised at what you can do!

Rogue, your stuff is fantastic - my wife and I were watching the broadcast online of the SDCC costume contest and we were both really impressed with your work. Viva la Foam Mat!

Thank you everyone! If there are any questions on how I did something or if there is a specific pieces you would like a better picture of, let me know.

The legs where probably the most difficult part because there are not many good images of the legs and they are a wierd piece to form right. And of the legs the calf/shin armor was the one that took the most attempts to get right.

Fantastic job man, it came out great! You, me, and Harrison will have to take some sweet pictures at D*C this year.

Actually I am trying to organize a big Mass Effect photo shoot. So far it looks like saturday afternoon before the good parties start. Hit me up on face book and I can fiil you in with more details. See ya there!

I saw photos of this costume and was most impressed someone had attempted one of the other Shepard armours. You really look the part too!

One thing id suggest and this is just from me seeing pics of the costume, is your crotch seems to hang much lower than it should. It looks like the cod piece is loose infront, perhaps strapping it so the strap run around to the back would curve it to sit better.

But that is it!..EVERYTHING ELSE IS BEYOND AWESOME.

Lol, yeah it is hang'n pretty low. My measurements where a couple inches off, but I realized it a little too late so I said the hell with. This is my first costume and it has given me a LOT of insight into costume making. There are a lot of things I will do different next time. I was thinking of maybe trying to make another set of alternate armor and selling this to some one who's a little taller than I. Thank you for the idea and compliments :)

The fact that this is your first costume, makes it even more awesome.

Looks really sharp! What did you use to seal and paint it?

Thank you. I used a couple coats of "Krylon Fusion". Then I dry brushed a lighter coat of blue over that with some cheap acrylic hobby paint. I have been really busy lately, but plan on putting up a quick tutorial on how I did the battle damage.
