Medieval Bat. Man Armor

Materials are leather, thread, rivets, and more leather hehe

Thanks again everyone, I'm glad it turned out so well.

Absolutely fantastic. I had no idea that leather could be used in such a fashion. Apparently, my imagination is not what I think it is!

That is one beautiful piece of armor. You are to be commended for your skill and artistic grace. I just have one thing to ask. Where did you get that wonderful toy? re: The BatSword. That is almost as awesome as the armor itself.

This is truly a work of art. I had the pleasure of taking some photos of it before it's unveiling and let me say that it is amazing. He is also very comfortable wearing it and has no problems moving!! Truly a work of art!!

As I mentioned earlier, this is one of the best things I've see in a while, but I'd like to see it with black makeup around your eyes, sorta like in the retouched version. I think that would add a bit to the creepy/mysterious look.

Thanks all for the kind words on the armor. It really did come out amazing, and Samuel outdid himself with this one. I'm glad everyone like our design.

I am still trying to figure out what the makeup around the eyes should look like since I walk around in the armor without the helmet longer than I have it on, so I don't want to do the traditional raccoon eyes, as that would look silly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Samuel and I are working on a new design for the helmet, because there have been way too may references to it looking like Sauron, but I absolutely love my helmet as it is, but what we are coming up with is going to look amazing, so stay tuned for that.

I also redid the cape. The way it was being worn, if you looked at me from the front, you couldn't even tell that I had one on. Now, with the new configuration, it looks impressive, and you will not wonder anymore if I actually am wearing a cape.

A fan film is also in the works as we speak, which will be epic, in both scope and action. I will update as we go along. Also a good friend (Max Wolfpack) of mine is in the process of writing fan fiction based on the back story I came up with. We are basically rewriting Batman's lineage in history. It's an incredible story so far, and will blow your socks off for all the Batman fans.

So as you can see, I have been super busy because of this suit, considering it went full viral on the Internet. It was something I never expected. Samuel and I were featured on MTV.com, SciFi.com, and many many more. It has been baffling to me to see the amount of press this suit has gotten. In the time that I have been costuming (which has been over a decade), I have never seen such a positive response to a non-industry costume like this, much less a suit of Medieval armor. I have been humbled by the experience, considering there are some amazing costume and male costumers out there that I feel that I don't hold a candle to.

Again, thanks to all for the great feedback on my armor. I wear it with pride, because the costumers I really respect like it as much as they do.

You could paint a bat-shaped domino mask over your eyes, with the wings spreading to cover your eyes, the bat ears pricking up over your brow and the tail sweeping down the bridge of your nose. With the helm off it would be reminiscent of nightwing, and might aid recognition of the suit as a batsuit. If you wanted something a little less superhero and a little more exotic, you could continue the line of the bat tail all the way down to your throat, bisecting your face and have the ears of the bat draw up into two thin lines that run up into your hairline.

A daytime alternative might be to put a swatch of black or yellow dyed gauze behind the visor. You can see out; viewers can't see in.

Wow. Its really incredible whats been done with this. Looked at some of their other work and its equally amazing. So much talent with that build!

Looking at the details on this, I got to say again Prince that your work on this is what makes this piece so memorable. I have seen other takes on medieval Batman in the past and this just stands out. At first glance you don't see Batman... it's subtle, then all of the sudden you see it. Again, nice work.
