Ok I don't have time to crop out the background so I'll leave that up to you guys. Just click on the thumbnails below to see the full size image and just in case you're wondering the MFX is in the middle ;)

I'll post the measurements tomorrow.

Awesome shots RKW , thanks a million for taking the time to do them they really show the difference in sizes between all three helmets up brilliantly.

You're the best..... :D :D :D

Cheers

Hey RKW

Thanks for posting these. Really illustrates the differences.

I must say it's always interesting to see a toy version of something you've made and I take my hat off to CO for really being as close to the original as the practically can. It really shows that in both the head on shot AND profile shots that they've kept it very very clsoe. Shows respect for the original.

Can't really say much about the other.... Speaks for itself really. Just damn ugly and a bit of an insult really. If that was just a fan making it for themselves I'd commend the effort but this guy couldn't bash it out fast enough to try and cash in by selling them and it shows.

I know ours come with a price tag but that's because we put a lot of work in to making them as good as possible. The guy who made that ugly one just wanted to cash in quick and clearly didn't care about the quality.

Wow, that is a huge difference. I had seen the fan made helmet and almost bought it, but after looking at it and seeing how poor the quality and accuracy was I am glad that I didn't. Alasdair Dewar and his team at CO did a great job on the VC helmet in my opinion and I think really did justice to your helmet.

Its incredible how accurate that voice changer is! It knocks the "who ate all the cyber pies" version out of the competition.

Voicechanging helmet looks great, Anybody plan on doing a run of the rear modification , possibly an add on kit ?

Does anyone know anyone that produces accurate replica new series cybermen head that are considerably cheaper than the MFX ones.

By that I mean a cyberman helmet moulded of a bought MFX helmet?

I would go for a legit one but they are not made to wear as a helmet and are seriously overpriced.

I'm sure you're not offering to buy a recast helmet (this would obviously be particularly offensive in a thread where the original sculptor is actually posting!). You might want to change the wording of your request as RPF members do not take kindly to recasting in any form.

Dude, what you're asking is not cool. Either but an MFX or buy a voice changer but not a recast. Noobs :rolleyes

for your own sake, edit your post.

what you have posted goes against the grain on this forum.

its like asking someone to steal you a car so you can buy it off them cheap as you think its too expensive

:confused------- My gooood..... Exuse me, but your question is very offencive... I dont think this is the board for you..:confused.... Gee think before talk...

Hmmmmmmmm!... Not cool. Not cool at all. :angry

sorry, I can see your pionts and relise that what I posted is quite selfish. MFX have done good work by letting us be able to purchase replicas, I am also sorry for talking about it in a negative way when it is clearly as accurate as you can get and it is MFX's business what they charges for his items.

I know it is no excuse but I did write it when I was tired and in a bad mood,

I hope you forgive me :(

The MFX ones are good but too expensive.

I too have just received my MFX Cyberman helmet and I really cant agree that its too expensive. I have paid more than this for mass produced replicas of movie props! This is as close to having a screen used item as it gets really (better cause it's in good condition!) It's the little details like the hand written COA with your own name on it that you just dont get elsewhere. The only possible way I can think of to improve it is to have a light up mouth, other than that I couldn't be more pleased. Time to start saving for the Cyber controller I think :)

I received my second MFX piece just the other day (though not a Cyber helmet), and will be making it an even three soon enough.

Their work is stellar, their customer service second to none. Here's wishing them much continued success. :)

I'm sure Linx won't mind me posting that he's PM'd me with a very genuine apology for his previous post.

I very much appreciate his PM and honesty and feel the matter is now closed.

Thanks Linx and best wishes to you. I know you are new to the rpf and I hope you'll enjoy being part of this fantastic community in the coming years.

Thank you also to the previous couple of postings who have said such nice things about our replicas. I, and my team, work very hard on our replicas and always appreciate such nice (and negative when deserved!) feedback. Makes all our hard work worthwhile. Thank you.

Best wishes
Neill
