movie scores for bad films

James Horner Battle Beyond the Stars. Horrible film, but a pretty good score, I believe it was Horners 3rd film score.
Cliff Edelman, The Meteor Man, I happened to like that score, even if the movie was a bit dumb.
FYI Starship Troopers was a terrible film. I mean they could travel through space to different star systems yet were still using cartidge ammunition? if they could rebuild a persons muscle tissue in a few days they should have the technology to build portable pulse lazers that could blast holes in most anything, basically blowing up the target on impact.

I really liked Megaforce when I was a kid though I'm sure I couldn't sit through it now. I even owned a copy on the old RCA VideoDisc format so that brings back memories.

I think Ace Frehley did the song at the end of the movie and later rereleased it with different lyrics or somesuch with Frehley's Comet didn't he?

It was a group called 707 that performed the Megaforce theme. I believe they only had a couple of albums.

Wasn't aware that Ace Frehley was involved with any of the music, but you might be thinking of one of 707's band members who I THINK went on to be a part of Frehley's band.

John Barry' score to the Black Hole. I also enjoy Horner's cheesy '80's scores. Krull and Battle Beyond the Stars come to mind.
