MR Falcon total repaint

Great work Gunpowder!
Perhaps you could use dry Letraset type rub-down transfers for the = markings?

There's plenty of reference at www.studioscale.com for their placement.

Howard.

Thanks Guys. Howard thanks for that link i had forgotten about that. It was while i was looking at it i suddenly thought about using a permanent very fine tip marker and a home made stencil. Easy!
OK heres the last of the dirt colour weathering done (other than the rear deck) Im going to take a break tomorrow and get back on it on Sunday.

Im just going for a finish that i like. It wont be 100% accurate but good enough for me. The cockpit interior should be the same as the studio cockpit.

All the little markings (= signs and dots) on these Falcons (half the size you're working on) were done by hand with a Gundam marker; no stencil.

I think you'll be fine with your marker idea, as you mentioned...

Awesome! I was just starting to notice the differences in the ANH and the ESB.
I think I have to separate all my reference pics!

You did all that in a day?? Holy cow. . .

I used dry transfers on my scratchbuilt Falcon. They're a real time saver! So easy to use.

They do get confused, and the ANH model seems to have been seen more in public.

i don't know!
I didn't have the chance to see an ANH or an ESB millennium falcon in Paris at the star wars exibition .:cry
But perhaps in brussels in febuary 2008
or this week when i will receive my master replica millennium fancon LE :love
