Dang it, I misread this thread title as "My buddy's elf costume" and thought it was something like what Elrond was wearing in Rivendell. :(
 
I haven't seen anyone else do this before - very good choice and it looks pretty authentic. This would be fun to whip out every Christmas and go out to the mall in...just make sure not to taste-test any perfume!!:lol
 
Costuming skills? CHECK!

Staying in character? CHECK!

That buddy costume is flippin sweet.

I've always wanted to make one of these costumes and go to the airport and just walk around and mess with people.

Can't find the wig & beard, so realistic like that. Any ideas?
The shirt looks even more real than the original.
The only ones I can locate are a much cheaper quality.
Any direction you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Great costumes fella. I would love a Buddy costume as I work in a hospital and it would be cool to wear to work at Christmas. BTW for the benefit of us Brits, Who is the cowbell character??
 
So many great costumes. I have always been a huge Will Ferrel fan and it is great to see so many well constructed outfits! I have to show my brother the SNL Spartan and Cowbell costumes. He is gonna LOVE them!
