my family's X-men (X-ladies) costumes

Heroes-Con is coming up this weekend in Charlotte, NC and my family has decided to do a group costume. Since I have the Marvel Now version of Magneto, my wife and four girls have all decided to join me in the X-MEN theme. With the help from Brulafu Disguises, who designed and printed the suits for my girls... and my wife creating her own Rogue costume (in the Uncanny Avengers style), we're really looking forward to this weekend.


None of the costumes are completed as of yet, but for the most part, it's close. Just have some belts, shoes, and small other accessories to finish up this week.



Please let us know if you have any comments, critiques, etc.. We'll be sure to post up fully finishes suits this weekend. Our baby, not pictured) will be wearing a simple green polo dress with gold belt in the style of the classic Jean Grey costume.

It always makes me happy to see a family that cosplays together. It's always so adorable!

I can only hope that one day when I have kids of my own that I can convince them to come to conventions and so forth. I already cosplay with my girlfriend so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
